"When I see something beautiful, when I experience moments of joy, I feel as if flowers gently bloom in my heart, and I wish to translate these feelings into works."
The artist is based in Japan and explores the space between stillness and motion. She studied oil painting in Germany and Italy, where she developed a foundation in classical techniques. She later moved to China, where exposure to Asian art traditions led to an engagement with ceramics. Now based in Japan, she works across ceramics and painting. Her work maintains an ongoing presence at Isetan Shinjuku—one of Japan’s most prestigious department stores—while being regularly exhibited. As she moves through space, the air, rhythms, and subtle traces that emerge in the act of walking are accumulated in the body as experiences that go beyond visual perception. At times, the boundary between self and space loosens, giving rise to moments in which one feels as if gently blending into the surroundings. The work is a trace—a memory—of sensations that emerge in each moment.Time, space, and emotion intertwine—one moment becomes eternal.2012 — Central Academy of Drama : Bachelor’s degree (Beijing, China)2019 — Kutani Ware Technical Training Institute (Ishikawa, Japan)2020 — First solo exhibition, Takashimaya Nihombashi (Tokyo, Japan)Upcoming Exhibitions2026May 27 – Jun 8 — Ginza no Kanazawa, TokyoGroup ExhibitionSep 23 – Sep 29 — Takashimaya KyotoSolo ExhibitionSep 30 – Oct 6 — Maruzen Marunouchi, TokyoGroup Exhibition
