"Architectural steel sculptures exploring balance, tension, and form."
Nicholas Turner is an American sculptor based in Wisconsin who works primarily in steel. His work explores architectural form, balance, and structural tension through restrained geometric compositions. Each sculpture is fabricated by hand in the artist’s studio using traditional metalworking techniques and finished for durability in both interior and exterior environments.
Turner’s Obsidian Series focuses on minimal forms and carefully controlled proportions, creating sculptural objects that interact with light, space, and surrounding architecture. Every piece is produced individually and reflects the artist’s background in welding and fabrication.
