TIME and the effect it has on memories and our IDENTITY is the theme of this 3D collage made with origami technique.
As with old photographs, the quality of memories fades and dissolves over time, in the same way that the colours of the flowers in this painting fade as the observer moves from right to left. It has been created by extrapolating a fragment of a 17th century Flemish still life that itself represents a meditation on the transience of everything and on the unstoppable march of time.
