This one was inspired by a crow we met on a hotel balcony in Washington, DC. We were just hanging out when he landed on the next balcony over. We called out to him and he actually flew over and hung out with us for almost an hour. Just chilled there with us. I couldn't stop thinking about him, so I painted him. Now he lives on as Crownelius Crowmwell, a moody little portrait of one very opinionated city crow. Perfect for crow lovers, birdwatchers, or anyone who appreciates animal art with real backstory!
