I've had this big red toothbrush staring at me for a while, and one night in my studio I mashed it up with the old power drill and loved the combination. Relatively quickly, a rube goldberg of sorts formed in my head, and I found the other parts to make it work. An iconic car battery-powered toothbrush was the result, and it made so much sense to me.The ageless and sometimes ridiculous idea of personal beauty promised in advertising comes through loud and clear for me in this piece.
