This enchanting stool showcases a geometric form made for comfort. The form creates intrigue from every angle while being designed for strength. The negative space is simultaneously playful and elegant. This stool will be at home anywhere from a cozy coffee corner to a fun midcentury modern ski resort. The stool is 3D printed using PLA plastic which may be recycled at the end of use. Available in a variety of colors.

Organic Design for a Sustainable Lifestyle

Katie Freeman was born in Iowa City, Iowa in 1981. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology in 2004. Professionally she spent 18 years working in engineering and quality roles across several industries. Her interest in furniture and art started when she was a child, and in 2017 she started her own woodworking business to design and build custom furniture and home décor pieces. In 2022 she decided to further develop her design skills and is now pursuing a Masters in 3D Design at the University of Iowa. Much of her work combines organic shapes and textures. Katie’s work has been exhibited in Iowa City, New York City, and London.
