The Horizon Collection: where memories of the past and hopes of the future collide.2023 was a very hard year - a year full of grief, loss and eventually numbness. I wasn't able to access creativity for awhile; but, I had hope that things would eventually begin to brighten -- that, as sure as the sun comes up every morning, there would be hope and a future on the horizon. So as I began to feel myself coming back to life creatively in 2024, the Horizons Collection was born. This collection is full of bright, vivid life, neon feeling particularly appropriate. These pieces display so much light, almost literally. They're a little edgy, reckless and haphazard, pushing a “go for it” feeling. Life is too short for constant comfort. These pieces push the limits just a bit.My desire is that these pieces push the boundaries between traditional and modern elements within a space. Color can be intimidating, and often, we think that we have to perfectly match every item in our space just so - but life isn't that way, and thus, our spaces can reflect that reality. These pieces represent the effect of going bold in beautiful, yet subtle ways. I hope these bright pops of color remind you that hope is truly on the horizon, even in the darkest of seasons.
