I use cutouts as stencils when I print. In this piece, I am using the remains of the paper from the cutouts - in a way I am using the negative shapes of what I usually use. I enjoy the forms intersecting with one another - a shape-shifting solidity.
The monotype image is 10 x 8" on paper which is 22 x 15". I print on a larger paper to make the process easier. The paper margin is excessive so if you would like it trimmed to a specific size please request that option. I am happy to oblige!
