Almon Woodcraft is a dynamic husband and wife team passionate about creating beautifully handmade home goods with mindful design and sustainable production methods. Our handmade home goods bring joy and a touch of nature into our customer’s homes. As conscious creators, we are standing up to make a change in the home goods industry. Our deep respect for Mother Earth drives us to design and build furniture and home goods that are enjoyed for generations to come, with beauty and quality that outlive us. The main goal for our life and business every day is to reduce actions that negatively impact the health of our planet. By doing so, we hope to make a small contribution to a much larger goal: leaving the world a better place than we found it.
At our family homestead nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, sustainable living isn't just a business model, it's a way of life. We run our woodshop and home on 100% solar power, and we strive to be "Zero Waste" in all aspects of our operations. Our sawdust is composted, larger wood scraps repurposed, and even our food is grown and raised on our 20-acre off-grid property. In our daily life, we prioritize reducing our environmental impact and living in harmony with the natural world. We love to share how we live and have a passion for helping empower others to live a simpler and more sustainable life.
