Carved buffalo bone knob in ivory and black, with brass bolt, nut and
washer included. Made in our workshop in India.
The ivory sections are buffalo bone. The black sections are buffalo
horn, cut and fitted by hand, not painted or dyed.

Fits standard 5 mm drawer holes. If your drawer front is thicker than

WHAT'S INCLUDED
Each knob ships with a threaded brass bolt, nut and washer. Nothing else
to buy. Mount it with a screwdriver in under a minute.

THE MATERIAL
Each knob is turned by hand into a fluted melon shape, then the black
sections are cut and fitted individually before the whole knob is
polished. The dark centre stud is set last.
Bone and horn are both byproducts sourced from licensed suppliers. No
animal is harmed for this craft.
Because both materials are natural, each knob carries its own faint
grain and a slight variation in tone. Knobs within a set will not match
each other perfectly. Moulded knobs match perfectly. Carved ones do not.

Black and white is the one hardware combination that works on almost any
carcass colour, which is why it survives every trend cycle. On white
shaker kitchens it reads crisp. On dark cabinetry the ivory does the
lifting. On stripped pine or oak it looks like it was always there.

Bone inlay and mother of pearl furniture, painted wood, rattan, cane,
pine and oak. Warm metals such as brass, aged gold and unlacquered
copper. Also works against black iron and matt black taps, where most
decorative knobs fail.
